Eric Wegerbauer – Blogger. WHY?

For one thing, I am not here to change what is wrong with digital culture, or to utter claims of the newest ‘com-craze’ that promises to be the next dernier cri.

It is that type of overused rhetoric that J.G. Ballard calls “invisible literature”…filled with words but empty of content - a regurgitation of what so many other people are already saying.

Instead, it is far more rewarding to simply enter into a meaningful conversation. We are living in a time that almost chokes us with innovation and change. This progression can not be forecast on a spread sheet, so why not jump in and move forward with discussion.  This is one of the most valuable lessons I learned while working for Frank Gehry.  Time and time again, what seemed to be impossible worked itself out through dialogue, debate and belief that you could take more than conversation in a new direction.  So here I am…starting conversations, asking questions, and looking for a healthy dialogue!  Please do jump in…
